This 13th edition features Infest (Pitchcontrol) from Oss, Netherlands. He is spinning drum & bass records since 2004, which is also the year, when he founded the Pitch Control crew together with Quasi and Guila. They also organize parties on a regular basis at a venue call Groene Engel in Oss, where they invite guest DJs from all over the country. due to the enormous popularity of the last podcast edition, I almost reached this month’s bandwidth limit. In order to prevent the site from going down completely, I had to disable all links to the older mixes. The latest mix by Henree & Kemo is currently hosted on another server (thanks to daradar for that!), so that all subscribers and visitors of this site can still get it. All older sets will be available again at the beginning of july.

In light of our upcoming party this friday (see upper right corner), I am very proud to present this special podcast edition mixed by Henree (Soul:R, Soundtrax, Vibez) with vocal support from Kemo MC (Soul:R, Combination Records, Evocators).
Henree is an aspiring producer hailing from Cologne, Germany, who has upcoming releases on labels like Soul:R, Vibez and Phunkfiction. He is also member of the Tatort crew, a well-known collective that organizes monthly drum & bass events in Cologne with high quality line ups. Be prepared to hear more from this guy in 2007, as collaborations with other upcoming producers like e.g. Lynx are on their way! Kemo is a MC currently residing in Duesseldorf, Germany. Recently he stirred up the scene with his release “Global Enemies” on Marcus Intalex’ Soul:R label - a collaboration with Lynx. His distinctive voice brings a finishing touch to tracks and his immense diversity allows him to freestyle over various styles of music, whether it be hip hop, house or drum & bass. This eleventh edition features Jonjei from St.Petersburg, Florida. His ears first heard Drum & Bass when he first acquired the Progression Sessions 2 CD featuring the infamous LTJ Bukem. Over time as a listener, he developed a taste within the genre and over the past 5 years has been practicing and applying it to himself. Drum & Bass kept him motivated thousands of miles around the world in many countries, especially during his deployments to the middle-east. This man has been accumalating a unique style, after many years of listening to a plethora of jazz vibes surrouding him in the metropolitan area of D.C.. As an instrumentalist, he’s played the clarinet and the tenor sax and his inspirations include: Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Nat King Cole and Curtis Mayfield to name a few. Until this day, he continues to listen and experiment with jazz, soul and funk continuing his efforts to contribute to this ineffable genre of Drum & Bass that brings us pure bliss. The tenth edition features DJ Ace (Loud FM, Massive Tunes) from Aachen, Germany. Already in the game since the early nineties, he is amongst others responsible for the party series Massive Tunes, which is widely known for being a high quality D&B night, featuring guest DJs like Nookie, Nu:Tone, Skitty, Loxy, Ink and many more! Ace is also hosting a weekly radioshow called Oxygen at Loud FM webradio.
