podcast nr. 18 - El Corte
June 4th, 2008
A hard core house-head since 1990, El Corte got the drum and bass bug within the last year and hasn’t looked back. His sets contain a variety of drum and bass sub-genres. The most important ingredient however is soul. His drum and bass influences are Kubiks, Lomax, DJ Elle Rollo, Electrosoul System, DJ Hayze, and Phantom 45. El Corte has appeared as a guest dj on a weekly radio show hosted by Turnstyle Soundsystem in Richmond, Virginia. Many of his sets can be found on his website: www.elcorte.us.

Thanks for this mix. After my first listening i thought this is a bad mix but after trying it again and again i found out how great it is. Good mixing, some little mistakes. The tracks in the beginning are a bit different to my stayle but the tracks after the middle of the mix are killer. Need to buy some. this mix is a bit different then the others and for me it’s not really liquid but it doesn’t matter what style it is, it just has to roll….peace

I thought I was the only kid with that first track. Kudos. We have a lot of the same tracks. I also play alot of house. Drum and Bass and House have come so far over the years. Keep it up
